The Hydra of Lerna is an aquatic monster that appears in Greek mythology, in the shape of a sea serpent with numerous heads. Thus, we represent it in the shape of a ring with numerous natural stones carved in irregular shapes. What is Amethyst?
It is a macrocrystalline variety of quartz that can vary in color depending on the level of iron it contains and the temperatures of the place where it is found. Its name refers to Amethystos, who according to Greek mythology was a woman turned into stone and dyed with wine by the god Dionysus.
