The Egyptian civilization was, for centuries, the most influential of the ancient world; a civilization characterized by power, art and culture which nowadays works as inspiration for creating a collection that represents it's imposing elegance. Through history, up until today, Ancient Egypt has manage to keep surprising us by it's grandiosity, richness and luxury.

It was when our designer Mar Aldeguer traveled to Egypt, that she immersed herself in this millenary culture, imagining designs that broke with classic and modern shapes, thus creating a collection of jewels full of movement and vibrant color. Following her dreams of versatility, she also introduced detachable jewels and pieces for My Coolook collection.

A collection in which the protagonists are stones such us Lapislazuli or Amethyst, stones with mysterious meanings that already had relevance in Ancient Egypt. Stones that assume as characteristic shapes such as the beetle, symbol of the morning sun to the Egyptians. We also got inspiration from the simplest shapes, triangles in deep shades that represent the pyramids and their majestic character.

What is mother of pearl?

The mother of pearl is the substance that covers the internal part of the shell of the bivalve mollusks, composed by calcium carbonate and cemented by conchiolin, elements that give place to the light interference phenomenon called east.

It is said that it counts with the influence of the oceans, which is why it gives calm and tranquility, helping you think and reducing stress. On a physics level, it has great benefits that help regenerate skin and cicatrization.  

There are different kinds, but they usually come from the Pacific.
